1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account or using Rent Bridge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. WHO CAN USE RENT BRIDGE
Rent Bridge connects property owners with prospective tenants across Canada. Owners must have the legal right to list any property they publish, and tenants must provide accurate information when requesting to rent a property.
3. LISTINGS AND APPROVAL
All property listings are reviewed before being published. Rent Bridge may reject or remove a listing at its discretion, including for inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant content.
4. RENTAL AGREEMENTS
Rental agreements generated through Rent Bridge are prepared by the property owner and signed electronically by the tenant. Both parties are responsible for reviewing the agreement terms before signing.
5. PAYMENTS AND COMMISSION
Rent payments, security deposits, and related fees are processed through the Rent Bridge platform. Rent Bridge deducts a service commission from rent payments before remitting the balance to the property owner, as disclosed at the time of payment.
6. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Rent Bridge facilitates connections between owners and tenants but is not a party to the rental agreement itself and is not responsible for disputes arising between them.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Rent Bridge after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
